What is a USB Relay Controller?
USB Relay Controllers allow computer controlled switching using the USB port of your computer. NCD USB Relay boards mount as a virtual COM port on your PC, allowing easy integration into any program that support serial communications. USB Relay boards are ideally suited for applications that require data collection and control from a single device. Built-in temperature sensor allows temperature monitoring, analog to digital conversion, and relay control from a single device.
What is the advantage to using an USB Relay Control?
USB Relay Control, USB I/O and USB A/D have been a popular request among our customers. However, we wanted to make sure our USB I/O, USB A/D, and USB Relay devices would be easy to use, regardless of what computer platform you choose. NCD USB Relay Boards, USB I/O Boards, and USB A/D Boards will allow simple USB Relay Control (USB Computer Controlled Switching). Our upcoming USB I/O Devices Allow USB Contact Closure Monitoring and USB TTL/CMOS Logic control. NCD USB A/D Converters Convert Voltages from 0-5VDC to Numeric Values from 0-255 (8-Bit), 0-1023 (10-Bit), and 0-4095 (12-Bit). NCD A/D Converters will be Available in 16-Channel, 32-Channel, and 48-Channel varieties. USB I/O Devices and USB A/D Converters will support an XR Expansion Port, allowing optional relay control.
